Example code for importing .bhv2 files into matlab?

Is there anywhere I can find an example script or instructions to import a .bhv2 file generated by ML into Matlab to be used for analysis? Ideally to end up with a [n_Trials x n_EventCodes] matrix.

I have found this, but I am still a loss as to where to even start with the process. Example import scripts to other languages or more comprehensible data structures would also suffice.
