Reduce sampling rate when using ethernet connected eyelink

Hi Jaewon,

I'm using ML version 2.2.31 with eyelink 1000 plus through Ethernet connection.

My task duration is around 30 seconds. So it result in over 30000 samples per trial in AnalogData.Eye. Since my task was running on an old PC, the ITI was exceed desired duration (usually around 8 seconds).

I'm wondering is that possible to reduce ML sampling rate in eye signal when using Ethernet connected eyelink? Thank you!

You can choose a lower sample rate in the menu, but it does not change NIMH ML's internal sample rate. It can just reduce the amount of data stored in the data file. This option is not available though, if ITI recording is turned on.

If you are not using SSDs, I suggest getting one. You do not need to touch any existing component, if you get an USB type.
