Dear Jaewon The auditory stimulus I run using the AudioSound function lasts longer than coded for by about 50ms. For instance, if coded to run for 100ms, the duration between the event marker of the auditory stimulus and that of the next scene is 150ms instead of 100ms. Is this because 100ms is a very short interval or because it takes time to load the waveform? snd1 = AudioSound(null_);by Matty - Questions and Answers
Yes! Understood. Thanks again!by Matty - Questions and Answers
Thank you so much, Jaewon! This really helps. I didn't realize it could be done without a TTL. Thanks again!by Matty - Questions and Answers
Thanks. I use the behavioural codes for monkeylogic data, but I need to send out a TTL to Blackrock in order to timestamp the electrophysiology data. 10ms was an arbitrary example. Would prefer the delay to be as short as possible since we are looking at reaction time. Thanks for your input!by Matty - Questions and Answers
Thanks for the prompt reply. Yes, I have read the documentation. We need to use it as an event marker for electrophysiology recordings.by Matty - Questions and Answers
Hi Jaewon On using the TTLOutput function, I am restricted to the refresh rate of the screen. For instance, if I send a TTL for a duration of 10ms, it gets detected for 16ms. I have attached my code here. Please could you suggest a way around this? Thanks. ttl = TTLOutput(null_); % output ttl.Port = 1; tc = TimeCounter(ttl); tc.Duration = 10; pc = PulseCounby Matty - Questions and Answers
Is an intel processor necessary, or can an AMD Ryzen be used? Apologies for the silly question, but I need to confirm before making a purchase. Thank you.by Matty - Questions and Answers
The mouse cursor that NIMH ML shows. Yes, I turn on the mouse and keyboard from the input settings.by Matty - Questions and Answers
In scenes that do not require tracking, cursor disappears despite showcursor(true). Is there a way to keep the cursor visible at all times? Thanks.by Matty - Questions and Answers
That explains it. Thank you!by Matty - Questions and Answers
Frame counter is giving very accurate timings compared to time counter in scenes that require no tracker. But I cannot use a frame counter in scenes where I wait for and hold fixation. Hence asking.by Matty - Questions and Answers
Is there a way to measure time in frames for the WaitThenHold adaptor?by Matty - Questions and Answers
I count the number of times an X & Y coordinate has been repeated. There are very few repeats in a high refresh rate high monitor compared to one with a lower refresh rate. I am sharing a text file for your reference. I am using v.2.2.13 of MonkeyLogic Thank you.by Matty - Questions and Answers
Thanks for the prompt reply and sorry for the ambiguity. We actually increased our screen refresh rates because that really improved the mouse sampling frequency. But in the bargain, we get several skipped frames.by Matty - Questions and Answers
Hi Does MonkeyLogic directly sample mouse coordinates (in which case a good gaming mouse should suffice) or does it record screen cursor coordinates (for which a high refresh rate monitor becomes crucial)? Even with a high refresh rate monitor, we get several skipped frames. What can be done to resolve this issue? Thank you.by Matty - Questions and Answers
