How to change start trial code

Hi,

I wanted to send behavior codes to Plexon in strobe signal, but I couldn't.

So, I send behavior codes to Plexon in binary. To stamp one signal per one event, I tried to change the start trial code and the end trial code.
Then, I found 'codes.txt' and changed these codes (9 and 18) to 1 and 128, respectively.
However, start and end trial codes are still 9 (1001) and 18 (10010), respectively in Plexon event

How can I change these behavior codes.
Why aren't these codes changed?

The "Start trial" (9) and "End trial" (18) codes are inherited from the original ML. They are hard-coded in the script and not changeable. People already had many analysis scripts that looked for those codes, so I could not just get rid of them when writing NIMH ML. Ignore them, if you don't need them.

codes.txt just assigns readable descriptions to numeric codes. It is not for code definitions. You can stamp any code whether you have codes.txt or not.
