Behavioral event codes misalignment

I'm currently experiencing some alignment issues with the behavioral event codes of MonkeyLogic and my neural acquisition system, Spike2. It seems that occasionally, the event codes become misaligned.

For example, in MonkeyLogic, the event code 40 corresponds to the onset of the target. However, in Spike2, this same event code 40 corresponds to the onset of the fixation point.

While I could potentially manage this misalignment if it were consistent, I've observed that sometimes certain codes are missed entirely in Spike2 or there is no shift between the two systems.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem and found a reliable solution to ensure consistent and accurate event code alignment between these systems?
