Creating a shrinking object

I am trying to make a shrinking circle using make_circle. The goal would be for the edge to be visible and shrinking, with the previous (larger) edges disappearing (transparent in the middle). I am running into issues with the removal of old circles, which causes memory issues. In addition, I can not make the circle disappear after the trial. Any suggestions?
