randomDotMotion

Hi Jaewon,

I am using 'randomDotMotion' to generate random dots stimulus now. I wanted to analysis the motion energy of these stimuli, in this case, I will need the dots position in each frame. Do you know how to output the dots position in each frame and save them? Thanks a lot.

It may create a huge data file, as we discussed before. You can either inherit RandomDotMotion or copy its mfile and make your own adapter that does what you want. Add a new property to the adapter and store dot positions in it. Then read the property in the timing script after run_scene() ends.

I made an example by modifying the "task\runtime v2\8 random dot motion" task.
