GigE Vision camera

Hi Jaewon,

I have just recently become interested in using the (relatively) new webcam functionality in the latest versions of ML and I have very quick question. We have some GigE Vision cameras in the laboratory and I'm curious if ML is/could be able to acquire one or more these cameras? If not, where would you recommend placing code to trigger the onset/offset for camera capture on a trial-by-trial basis? Any insight into this topic would be useful.

Plug them in and see if they show up in the [Other device settings] menu. If they don't, they are not supported by NIMH ML. For cameras not supported, I do not know what initialization process is required and how long it takes. So it is entirely up to you how to control the cameras and sync timestamps.
