Hello,
I am using MonkeyLogic with a Tobii Pro Spark eye tracker. I can successfully connect the device through the “Other device settings” menu in MonkeyLogic. The connection test works correctly, and I can also proceed with the MonkeyLogic calibration procedure.
However, I would like to import a calibration file generated with Tobii Pro Eye Tracker Manager. The exported file format is .tobiipreset (rather than .tobii, as mentioned in the MonkeyLogic documentation). I can import this file into MonkeyLogic without any apparent issue, but when I try to run my task, MATLAB returns the following error:
“Tobii: the tracking mode does not match between the eye tracker and the calibration data.”
The problem is that both in Tobii Pro Eye Tracker Manager and in MonkeyLogic, the only available tracking mode is “Default” (see attached screenshots). Therefore, I do not understand how the tracking modes could differ.
Could this be due to an incompatibility between .tobiipreset files and MonkeyLogic, or to the fact that the Tobii Pro Spark only supports a “Default” tracking mode? Alternatively, is there another way to ensure that the calibration file is recognized correctly?
Thank you for your help and thanks for all the work on MonkeyLogic
