Can the hotkey stop working when the window of control screen isn't in front?

When I run MonkeyLogic on my pc and monkey is in testing, sometime I need to type in another application like Chrome or Word. But the hot keys of Monkey Logic will respond when I type letter of c, r, x etc. I searched in trialholder_v2.m and run_trial.m, but can't find how to let Monkey Logic stop responding to my type in another application. Do you have idea about this? The function of hotkey is very useful, I use them frequently and even added more hotkeys. I just don't want them still responsive while I'm typing in other applications, or else the testing process would be interrupted by my typing.
